Wealthyloop is a peer-to-peer (P2P) lending platform that connects retail investors with loan originators across Africa. Investors provide funds, which loan originators use to issue loans to borrowers. In return, investors earn interest on their investments.
How does Wealthyloop work?
Wealthyloop allows you to invest in loans issued by our partner loan originators. Loan originators vet and approve borrowers, then distribute loans using the funds from investors like you. In return, you receive interest on the amount invested.
What is the minimum amount I can invest?
The minimum investment amount is $10, making it easy for investors to start small while benefiting from the lending market.
How much can I earn through Wealthyloop?
Returns vary depending on the loan and its associated interest rate. Wealthyloop targets competitive interest rates, typically ranging between 18% and 25% annually, with interest paid monthly.
Is there a buyback guarantee?
Yes, Wealthyloop offers a buyback guarantee. If a borrower defaults on their loan for more than 30 days, the loan originator will repurchase the loan, protecting your investment and any interest accrued until that point.
How does Wealthyloop ensure the safety of my investment?
Wealthyloop partners with reputable loan originators who perform thorough credit checks and risk assessments on borrowers. Additionally, the buyback guarantee provides an extra layer of protection for investors.
Can I withdraw my investment early?
Currently, Wealthyloop does not offer a secondary market for early withdrawal. However, you will receive monthly interest payments, and at the end of the loan term, the principal is returned.

What are the risks of investing with Wealthyloop?

How do I withdraw my funds?
To withdraw your funds, log into your account and navigate to the “Withdraw” section. Choose the amount you'd like to withdraw, and it will be transferred to your bank account within 3-5 business days.
